We hope you are all doing well during the current situation.Please accept my most sincere greetings. My name is Huong Ha, a member of the BME8 program committee. On the behalf of the program committee, I am sending you this letter to update you some important announcements about the program:
1. As far as you have known, the outbreak of the COVID19 pandemic this year has influenced many countries in the world. The Vietnam government has thereby called for national self-isolation a few days ago. To prevent any infection risk and to follow the government’s directions, we thereby have to make a deferral to our programs and conferences. The BME8 conference will be deferred up to summer 2021. Further information about the program dates or details would be gradually updated to you later.
2. Having said that, however, the submission and publishing work would not be affected. All accepted submissions are still going to be published this year. We look forward to receiving your full text submission. The deadline is April 30th, 2020. If you have any question or concern please let us know.
3. Authors with accepted papers will have to pay the Full Text Processing and Publishing Fee, which is $75. In case the first authors are current students (undergraduate or graduate) of the International University, Vietnam which is one of the host organizations, only $40 would be applied.
