SUN/SixERS, Nagasaki University, and Okayama University in collaboration with ASEAN University Network (AUN) is proud to announce the “Japan-ASEAN Online Program Towards SDG Flush Out the Differences: A Cross-Cultural Workshop on Toilets and Sanitation”!
The four-day virtual course will focus on achieving SDGs goals 3 and 6 where students from diverse backgrounds in ASEAN countries and Japan will engage in group work to understand cultural differences and perceptions of sanitation and wellbeing in their respective countries. The entire event will be held in English on Zoom, free of charge.
Date and Time:
Day 1: December 12 th (Tue) 17:00-19:00 (JST)
Day 2: December 13th (Wed) 17:00-19:30 (JST)
Day 3: December 14th (Thu) 17:00-19:30 (JST)
Day 4: December 15th (Fri) 17:00-19:00 (JST)
The number of students to be admitted to the program is 60. (50 from AUN member universities, 10 from SixERS member universities) Participating students will be assessed for their knowledge over the course of the training. According to the organizers, “if the attendance rate exceeds 80%, they will be granted a certificate of completion jointly issued by Nagasaki University, Okayama University, SUN/SixERS, and AUN!”
