“Cell models are essential in-vitro tools used to advance our knowledge of cellular biology and molecular signaling pathways, and to discover novel therapeutics. Investigation of genetic abnormalities in the etiology of diseases and evaluation of potential treatments in early-stage research is often accomplished using relevant in-vitro models. In this talk, a series of classic to advanced cell models from ATCC that are facilitating basic research and drug discovery will be discussed. Apart from continuous cell lines, primary cells, and hTERT immortalized cell lines, more advanced reporter cell lines will be covered as well.”
